Devon produces a wealth of delicious produce
and this constitutes the main ingredients of the Bedford’s
varied menus. Fish and seafood is caught by local fishermen daily
and local crab and lobster is known throughout the region.
The menus are prepared using the freshest local produce, many of
which are sourced by the family farm. Vegetables are always crisp
and tasty, succulent free range poultry and eggs are packed with
flavour.
Overlooking Sidmouth seafront with panoramic views across Lyme
Bay the dining room serves residents breakfast and a Table d’hote
menu with a choice of five courses.
The dining room is open to non residents for Sunday lunch or private
functions. On Sundays we offer a traditional four course lunch for
£16.00 per person, which includes a selection of roasts with
all the trimmings, coffee and mints. If you'd like a light lunch,
snack or an evening a la carte meal, visit Pynes Bar for a more
informal atmosphere.
