Known for his mastery of modern Indian cuisine, Chef Dugal will showcase his culinary skills and artistic flair in each carefully curated dish. This dining experience promises to be a feast for the senses.

The Package Includes:

  • 2 nights accommodation (Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd June 2024) in one of our beautiful rooms. Single, Twin and Super King rooms are available. Option to upgrade to sea-view and balcony rooms.
  • On the Friday evening, enjoy a delicious 3-course, seasonal dinner, cooked by our talented Chefs.
  • On the Saturday evening, prepare yourself for a night of culinary excellence as we present a special 5-course ‘Indian Street Food’ tasting menu created and cooked by the renowned and award-winning Chef Arbinder Singh Dugal – see menu here.

About Arbinder Singh Dugal

Indian Chef Arbinder Singh Dugal completed his Diploma in Culinary Arts and Kitchen Administration at The Institute of Hotel Management, Aurangabad, India in 2004.

In 2007, he came to the UK and was appointed as Senior Chef de Partie at a gastro pub the Deerhound Inn Restaurant, Guernsey, Channel Islands. In 2009, he was appointed as our Senior Chef de Partie at the Pyne’s Bar and Restaurant here at the Bedford Hotel Sidmouth, Devon. 

After leaving us, he worked alongside Chef Sat Bains at his 1 Michelin star, Restaurant Sat Bains, Nottingham and worked also at Michelin star Waterside Inn, Maidenhead, Berkshire.

In 2012 he became a finalist in the Roux Scholarship and in 2013, he became the semi-finalist in the Roux Scholarship and was appointed Sous Chef at the Quaglinos Restaurant, an upmarket European brasserie in St. James, Central London.

Arbinder participated in BBC’s Alex Polizzi: Chefs on Trial and was appointed as a Senior Sous Chef, in charge of Kitchens operations of the Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotel, Heathrow.

In 2019 he was also a Semi Finalist on BBC’s MasterChef Professionals UK. 

This year, he will take to the stage, representing England in the Culinary World Cup in Germany. 

His food philosophy is to bring and interpret the diversification of Indian food to new heights and continually experiment it with French, European and British cuisine.
