What an incredible summer it's been, but There is so much to look forward to!
Firstly, what an amazing summer it’s been! Thank you to our incredible team and our wonderful guests for making it one to remember. We have welcomed many lovely customers over the past few months and whether it was a beautiful walk along the Jurassic Coast, a historical stop at the Sidmouth Museum or great food at our very own Pyne’s bar, we have loved hearing about your wonderful days here with us.
You may have noticed that our Pyne’s Bar is now also open to non-residents during weekend evenings, so everyone can enjoy our delicious seasonal menu with a sea view. We offer a range of different dishes to suit everyone; from mushroom and cheese arancini and Asian marinated Turbot to butternut squash wellington and Dartmoor Ribeye Steak. We use the highest quality local ingredients and our menu is ever-changing; it’s all about eating the best the season has to offer.
We’re lucky to have experienced so many incredible events over the summer. A standout was of course the Sidmouth Folk Festival where the streets of Sidmouth came alive with the wonders of traditional folk dances, from Morris dancing to Scottish ceilidhs!
Another event we enjoyed was the Sidmouth biodiversity festival, which included a week-long celebration of the vast diversity of wildlife in our valley. Its guided nature talks, workshops and storytelling performances reminded us how important it is to care for and protect our beautiful wildlife.
But this year isn’t over yet – we have so much more to look forward to…
Upcoming Foodie Weekend!
Attention all food lovers! This is the perfect weekend getaway for you. Our upcoming Foodie Weekend event is all about discovering new flavours and embarking on a mouthwatering food journey with our talented chefs and MasterChef Professional Arbinder Singh. The weekend takes place on Friday the 3rd, Saturday the 4th and Sunday the 5th of November. Here a little teaser of what you can expect:
Friday 3rd November
After a warm welcome and check in, feel free to explore the beauty of Sidmouth and its beaches and relax as we await our first culinary experience! For dinner you’ll be treated to an incredible 3 course meal, prepared by our very own talented chefs.
Saturday 4th November
Get ready for an incredible culinary experience with Masterchef Professional Arbinder Singh Dugal! Chef Dugal will present an exciting 5 course tasting menu, showcasing their expert mastery of modern indian cuisine.
Sunday 5th November
On Sunday you’ll wake up relaxed and refreshed where a hearty breakfast will be waiting for you, setting you up perfectly to start your day. We’ll see you there!
