TUESDAY 23 DECEMBER
On arrival, enjoy Mulled Wine and warm Mince Pies in our sea view lounge bar, before settling into your comfortable room. Later the festivities begin in the bar with a selection of carefully chosen Christmas drinks at 5.30pm. Dinner is served at 6.30 pm, a delicious meal to savour at your leisure followed by tea and coffee. To complete the evening relax to the festive sounds of live piano music.
WEDNESDAY 24 DECEMBER – CHRISTMAS EVE
Following a hearty breakfast, why not take a stroll along Sidmouth’s beautiful seafront and take in the breathtaking views of the Jurassic Coast? Or perhaps explore the town’s many independent shops for those last-minute gifts.
A light lunch is available in the dining room at 12.30 pm. This evening’s celebrations begin at 5.30pm with pre-dinner aperitifs and canapés in the bar, followed by a delicious three course candlelit gala dinner at 7.00 pm accompanied by the elegant sounds of our classic violinist.
Later, you may wish to attend Midnight Mass at Sidmouth Parish Church to round off a memorable Christmas Eve.
THURSDAY 25 DECEMBER – CHRISTMAS DAY
Wishing you a very Happy Christmas!
Start your day with a glass of Bucks Fizz and a full English breakfast. If you’re feeling energetic, perhaps take a refreshing walk up Peak Hill to work up an appetite.
A traditional Christmas lunch with all the trimmings will be served in our Regency dining room at 12.30 pm.
Later, unwind in the comfort of the bar as you enjoy the Kings’ speech.
We hope you have saved room for our taste of the Westcountry buffet supper at 6.30 pm in the dining room. Afterwards, join us in the bar for a selection of Christmas cheeses, a glass of port and a classic wedge of fruitcake.
FRIDAY 26 DECEMBER – BOXING DAY
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast with the morning papers – the perfect way to start Boxing Day.
Hot soup and a selection of freshly prepared sandwiches will be available in the dining room at 12.30 pm.
If you’re a rugby fan make your way to Sidmouth Rugby Club in the afternoon and watch the traditional Boxing Day match: Presidents vs Chiefs, a local favourite!
This evening join us in the bar at 5.30 pm for a Prosecco reception, followed by a three course table d’hôte dinner at 6.30 pm.
SATURDAY 27 DECEMBER
After breakfast we bid you a fond farewell and hope that you have thoroughly enjoyed your Christmas stay with us.
